Hadn’t been in the Village cafe for about 15 years. It hasn’t changed one bit. It’s still serving amazing food at very reasonable prices. The same couple are still running it, they are really nice people. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely hands down the best cafe around. I've been coming here nearly half my life now and don't plan on stopping anytime soon! I've introduced countless people down the years that have made this their local as well. It's just that good. The owners are lovely, and the food is great, reasonably priced and always ready within minutes of ordering You really can't go wrong!
First time visiting, although on this showing it will not be the last. Village café gets the basics right; good food, competitively priced served in unpretentious surroundings, by friendly staff. It's not a coincidence that many of their customers have been coming for years. At the time of our visit, around 11.30am on a Saturday, the place was packed. The full English breakfast was excellent, with good quality sausage and bacon, beans served on the plate, as they should be, not out of a dish, and perhaps most importantly, black pudding on the menu. The £8.50 asking price, which included a mug of tea and two rounds of toast represents outstanding value for money. Highly recommended.
This is the best cafe in bexley i 100% recommend coming here, staff are amazing and the food was delicious, also the pice of the food was in my budget and they give a great portion, if you want to come to bexley-high street come to village cafe!

Nothing pretentious about the place. Lots of different choices with great breakfasts and great portion sizes. Service is always polite and fast with good prices. Good place for fast and honest food.

There are currently a lot of breakfast places in Bexley village, Village Cafe provides consistent, no fuss, high standard. Their food is always tasty and come out comes out piping hot, the service is efficient and friendly and they always cater to whatever variations you want as well as the price being reasonable. I’ve eaten in and taken away multiple times and the standards never slip.
Absolutely love it here. Excellent value for money and delicious good quality sausages and bacon. Breakfast is not massive but a nice size to start the day with. Staff polite and attentive. Good strong tea as requested. Fresh crusty bread
